This was our first stay with Leo’s campground and they DID NOT disappoint! All staff members were super nice and helpful. The campground itself is beautiful, clean, and conveniently close to other attractions. Also, remember to bring your kayaks when visiting, the campground has a beautiful preserve that will take you through mangroves and if you’re lucky you might see a manatee or two! We are very pleased with our stay at Leo's. They are very friendly and helpful when suggesting area establishments and transportation. Close to the bus route to get to key West. It will be nice when the bath house is reopened. We will plan to return!
We’ve been camping at Leo’s RV park for the past seven or so Thanksgivings and a couple other trips. Perfect location, exceptional staff and every year they seem to have added or improved some feature. The park was not very full this Thanksgiving. Not sure why. Very few RVs on the road, too. High fuel prices? In any event, if you’re headed for the lower keys, Leo’s is the place to be. There are no RV parks on Key West so Leo’s on Stock Island is as close to the party as you can get in an RV. It’s literally a 30 minute bicycle ride to anything worth seeing on Key West. Ubers everywhere. Stock Island itself is becoming a destination with many restaurants and new hotels. Book ahead, it fills up fast when the weather turns bad up north.
